I don’t think that’s true as he’s only 18 (born in 1999)…I see a site that says he double majored in comp sci and econ and then got his MBA at Fuqua, but that is actually what his mother, Melinda, did at Duke! 
So, that’s why there’s misinformation. I think he just started freshman undergrad right now somewhere, but don’t know where. If you google Melinda Gates feminist son, you can read an article from earlier this year from Melinda talking about his upbringing and that he just turned 18. Clearly, has not already gone to college let alone an MBA yet.
Yes, this makes more sense. Thank you for the info! There has been talk about him going to community college but I am not sure if that is true.
I don’t know if the Gates’ son attends Duke. But another well know business person - Mary Barra has two children currently attending Duke. Mary is CEO of General Motors. It’s surprising that her children would pick Duke over Stanford given her deep connection to Stanford (GSB alumni, member of Board of Trustees and the GSB Advisory Council).
