<p>I haven't heard anything at all from Oberlin. I know that they mailed decisions last Monday, right? So I'm thinking it's pretty weird that I haven't gotten anything. I emailed admissions to ask what was up...I'm positive I submitted my application and have the receipt and everything, so I know it's not that...</p>

<p>I haven't gotten anything either. I live in southern California, but my friend who lives less than a mile away from me got a rejection letter from Oberlin last week. We live so close that we should have gotten our decisions the same day. The waiting is agonizing because Oberlin is my top choice, and the only other school I got into was UC Santa Barbara(which I would be happy to attend anyways).</p>

<p>You both should feel free to call the admissions office (or email the specific staff person who covers your region) to find out. You should have heard by now.</p>
<p>I called today and they told me that my application is still in review. Which implies I still have a chance :). Being a bit pessimistic, I really hope they were not just lying because they didn't want to rejection someone over the phone.</p>
