I have just heard a rumor that a high school guidance counselor today told an ED2 applicant to Haverford that the Haverford 2021 ED2 decisions will be released tomorrow. I am not sure how the guidance counselor knows that or if it is true, though. Has anyone else heard this? Did anyone who applied ED2 get an email saying this?
My guidance counselor forwarded me this email:
"Greetings from Haverford College!
We wanted to give you the head’s up that we plan to notify students of their Early Decision 2 admission decisions by email at 7 p.m. (EST) on Thursday, February 9.
All of us here are grateful for your colleagueship and the work you do on behalf of these students."

@wolftrot, thank you so much for that info ! And good luck to you ! Yet now I wonder if today’s snowstorm could interfere, if the admissions office might be closed due to the snow (but hopefully not!!!)
[On the Haverford College website today, in the twitter feed section, it says that the entire Haverford College is CLOSED today. And there also is a separate admissions office twitter tweet that the admissions office is closed today.]
That’s annoying. They sent the email yesterday, so presumably they would’ve known about the impending storm? Hopefully everything is automated and ready to go, but I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
