Ive completed all my general courses and the two majors that stuck out more to me were Biology (Education) and Speech Language Pathology. I chose biology other than it being my favorite subject since high school but I like it because I am fascinated with the human biology and various aspects in the field of medicine. I really enjoyed the time I help tutor people and just seeing that they understood the subject better is really making me think about becoming a teacher. Ive also thought about speech language pathology because Ive experienced having speech problems when I was in elementary school and the speech therapist really helped me a lot and just by looking back on that I really want to help children that also have a communication disorder. Now Im really having a hard time choosing between the two because they both have different aspects of me. So is there any advice you could give me to help make an easy decision?

Why not double major and enjoy the best of both worlds?

If that’s not an option, then I don’t know if any of us can tell you which major to choose. That’s something you really have to do a lot of introspection on and decide for yourself.
My personal opinion is that with language pathology you really do get to make more of a life-changing impact on people’s lives than you would as a biology teacher.
