So here's the thing. I've been working for my dad for about four years, ever since I was in fourth grade. I spend a lot of time there, working an doing tasks for him. So basically, I'm almost like an "unpaid intern." Should I include that in the application as an EC? Would it count for something?

I’d definitely include it. Any sort of working experience is valuable, even if you are unpaid.

Is it considered a significant EC? Since I don’t really do any sports or arts (apart from tennis and photography), would it help my application a lot or just a little bit?

If you spend a lot of time there, it is definitely important. Schools like to see people doing things and being involved like doing various chores and such.

having a job is a fantastic EC! i know colleges look upon job experience really positively so i’d imagine boarding schools do the same

Definitely include it. Having a job at this age shows maturity and that you like to work which are good qualities to have at boarding school.
