Having Transfer Troubles (are these schools too reachy?) Will chance back!

<p>Hey everyone I am a current Penn State honors student at one of the commonwealth campus's. I am going to be a junior next year and have decided that main campus would not suit my needs the best. As a transfer applicant I applied to Penn, Haverford College, Georgetown, NYU, Villanova, and Lehigh. This week I was rejected by both Penn and Haverford:(. I have spent the past year of my life working towards this and I don't know what I am going to do if I do not get into at least one of these schools. Everyone that knows me knows I have been working very hard to get into a more desired school and I am going to be extremely embarrassed if I do not get into at least one of them. Here are my stats and let me know what you think my shot at Georgetown, NYU, Villanova, and Lehigh are.</p>

GPA: 3.59</p>

<p>I didn’t hear back from anywhere else yet and Penn and Haverford were definitely the most reachy out of all the schools as far as transfer competitiveness goes.</p>

<p>Well, I do not know much about transfer admissions, but you seem to be really engaged. I will put money on you getting into one of the remaining schools :)</p>

<p>Thanks for your input. They are way less reachy then the rest I sure do hope so because if I don’t I am going to be at a school I am very unhappy with haha.</p>

<p>You should be fine for Villanova, and Lehigh! NYU and Georgetown will be a bit reachy, but you have a strong app that will most likely result in an admission.</p>

<p>Awesome lets hope so. Nova would honestly be great I really like it. Gtown is definitely a huge reach in my opinion from what I have been reading they are taking 15-20% of the transfer apps this year:/ I hope I can network a little when I get down to Washington D.C. and meet some people that may know more about Georgetown and especially since that is most likely where I am going to be living down there.</p>
