Having Trouble Transferring Foreign Language Credits From CC to High School

Just like each hs has its own policies, so do colleges.

Are you going to attempt to change the admission evaluation process at each school you apply to as well?

Well so that’s my point, that what I have right now is not just all right for every college as you seemed to be saying…

You will have to send your community college transcript (in addition to HS transcript - and you showed the college rep the HS transcript not the college transcript!) and list “Russian 1-3 (dual enrollment)” on your list of classes for common app.
Yes it’s level reached that matters.

If you want to continue to pursue this, I would talk to someone at De Anza (professor, head of department) and find out what they think the course equivent is. Then see if you can get something that has evidence, e.g., the number of class hours for each course. If the principal won’t talk to your parent, then tell them to make an appointment with the board of education.

I am having my instructor from De Anza send my school and district a letter about this. But, when I called De Anza, they said I as a student could not talk to anyone in their transferring department, only my counselor could, and she refused to contact them. My parents and I are finally in the process of setting up a meeting with the person who deals with this at the district level. We went through all the levels of administration at my school and were unable to resolev anything. But my main piece of justification remains this link http://web2.assist.org/web-assist/report.do?agreement=tca&reportPath=REPORT_2&reportScript=Rep2.pl&event=28&ia=DAC&ay=16-17&arc=N&dora=RUSS
