hay guyz, tell me what you think.

Look, dude, I know other people are saying this too but I can't stress this enough - you know you're smart, everybody else knows you're smart, and it's very obvious that you're just typing all of this stuff out just to get some unnecessary flattery. It's a little bit ridiculous.

LOL PwNED. But good stats anw.

You know what. This really is ridiculous. Just because I'm scared about not getting into colleges I would like to because of seeing so many talented kids with so many great acheivements does NOT mean I am "typing all this stuff out just to get some unnecessary flattery." Haven't you read my post that I would appreciate criticisms so that I can know what to do over this final summer? And yet, you think I'm stroking my ego? Again, for the second time, if you think I am, I apologize, but I have clearly stated that I am not trying to. You guys haven't seen my friends who are biology olympiad finalists, Intel Science Competition Finalist, or Computer Science Olympiad Gold medalist. I am way, way far behind compared to them and I'd like suggestions to improve. So please, if you think I am here just to get some unnecessary flattery, you're really wrong. There is no need to tell someone who wants help that he/she is "stroking his/her ego." I'm trying to get some suggestions so that I can improve myself better. And Westmere, what do I need more, you ask? Do you not know that Brown PLME selects only 50 students in the country? I know something needs to be done to improve. And Aasian: These are not great stats. All my friends in my area got 800s in both their SAT IIs, and some got 5's in all APs. Really, hearing that I am here to stroke my ego when I'm trying to get some more ideas (not only chances, contrary to what you think), is VERY very frustrating.

When I asked, "What more do you need?" it was more of a rhetorical question. I also meant, "What more do you need from us?" Don't overreact, either, buddy; you simply need to understand that you already have great chances everywhere. If you can't comprehend that but can achieve such academic excellence, you should be barred from admission at all of your schools.

I understand how you feel, pk6871. My friend won a silver medal in the International Physics Olympiad and makes the rest of us feel less intellectual. However, you have a great probability of being admitted to the schools based upon your stats. My friend got into the Brown PLME with accomplishments not as amazing as yours (he is not attending Brown though). You have an excellent chance of acceptance at your choice schools as long as you keep your grades and activites great. The only thing I can recommend so far is to earn a high score on the SAT/ACT.
