Headington Hall

My S is interested in the rooms at Headington Hall. The floor plans appeal to him more than the Towers. Is anyone familiar with the atmosphere of this hall for non-athletes?

I know this isn’t exactly what you are looking for, but my daughter, even though she will be staying in Headington as an athlete, said that when she stayed there during her official visit that it didn’t feel like the athletes and the non athletes were segregated. Not that she has normal day to day experience staying in a resident hall, but she loved the environment and the dorms in general. I believe she was told that non athletes actually (slightly) make up the majority.

Thanks. Yes, we found out that the NCAA requires non-athletes make up 51 percent of each floor. We are trying to figure out whether the athletes and non-athletes associate with one another, how quiet or loud it is, etc. It is only a year and a half old so probably not really possible to know.

The facilities themselves are beautiful and the quality of the rooms more modern than anything else on campus. But that would not be worth it if he couldn’t make friends in the dorm.
