How difficult is it to get a doctor's appointment? Do you generally have to call and make the appointment the day before?

It’s not hard at all unless it turns out to be like flu season or something.

Go to the SSB building on Dean Keeton. The nurse’s office is this big window on the back wall - you can’t miss it.

They have tons of stuff in that building to offer; even a pharmacy!

would I need insurance for something like testing for ADD or checking an odd bump on my hand, or is it free?

I think you need insurance either from some company or UT has their own - but it never hurts to ask.

You can call and talk to the nurse for free, 24/7. This is really nice. (512) 475-6877

You can make an appointment; you can get in quickly, especially if you are okay with seeing a nurse practitioner. When my daughter has gone over there, she has brought her insurance card and that has worked; they must have just accepted our regular insurance.

ah, well I’ve never had insurance :/.
