University Health Services?

Hey, I just had a quick question.

I don't have a general physician right now, and I really want to get a regular check-up to determine if I'm in good health or not...complete with blood tests and a physical exam. Is this service offered at the UHS building? If yes, approximately how much would it cost with or without insurance coverage?

Thanks a ton!

This page says there is a charge for check-ups and lab tests, so they must offer check-ups and lab tests.

It really does seem like a normal “doctor’s office” there.
I would call the health service cashier/insurance line during business hours and ask
(512) 475-8232

By the way, for anyone who is reading this, UT’s “nurse on call 24 hours a day” phone line people are really nice if you ever need to use them because you are feeling sick and not sure what to do. They are always open.

Thanks, but it seems to also say that lab tests can only be performed if there is an outside order from an outside doctor? What does one have to do to quality to have a lab test taken, anyway? Do I have to have a legitimate health concern, because in that case I would not actually qualify. :(
