<p>Yesterday I got admitted to Hampton University. The policy has a maximum benefit of $8,500 per accident or sickness and the cost is $160.00 per student per year.</p>
<p>Is this a good plan? If not, can you recommend me a website where I can get a better plan?</p>

<p>If you already have health insurance, it's probably better and more comprehensive than what Hampton offers. Talk to your parents, their jobs may continue to cover you through college.</p>
<p>It is a very limited plan. If you were every to be admitted to a hospital, that would probably cover only 2-3 days. Does the school have an optional plan with higher benefits? If they do, get it.
If you want an individual plan,which is not part of a group, that will cover up to $1 million, it would probably cost over $5000.</p>
