Will health insurance premium and Health Saving Acct money (2011) also be added back to income (as 401k and IRA) for calculating EFC?
how about out of pocket health expense ? will be add back too?
Thanks.

No, your HSA deduction is NOT added back in nor is the self employed premium paid.

Out of pocket health expenses? Are you talking about reimbursement from an HSA? That info is not asked.

Thanks,
how about employer paid benefits? such as 401k match(pre-tax), life insurance premium (taxable)?

No - those are not considered in the FAFSA formula. Your 401k contributions are counted, but the employer match is not. Only the items that are specified on the FAFSA are added back.

OOP health expenses would be double-counted if those were added back … you already reported those in your income from the tax return. Unless, of course, they were from an FSA … but you can’t have both an HSA and an FSA, so that would be a moot point.
