Hearing back?

<p>To those who have gotten a response from Drexel, how long did it take to hear back?</p>

<p>About 3 weeks after sending in the application. It was my son’s first acceptance.</p>

<p>I just sent in everything today through common app… Do I have to wait for them to send me an email or something?</p>

<p>How long does it take after the online portal says “your file is under review”? And also, when you get accepted/rejected, do they send out an email notifying you?</p>

<p>The email came a few days after the status changed online. if u r keen to find out then keep checking their website, have they received everything and is your file complete for review?</p>

<p>I keep checking my status like every hour, who knows what might happen… I am very anxious…
It says they still require my high school transcripts and letters of recommendation, but I am a bit confused, since I already sent them (because I sent them through commonapp and in common app it says that drexel already ‘downloaded’ my files)… I emailed them and they just said that it should take 3-4 weeks then I should check back.
They already have my essay (also through common app) and supplement, so I am a bit confused as to why they don’t have my transcripts. Should I be worried about this?</p>

<p>^^I had the same situation so I called and they said not to worry at all, that the transcripts are the last thing to be entered. A week or so later my status changed to complete and under review.</p>

<p>Because Drexel is a big school and they have many applicants a year, it takes a while for everything to be processed so I guess they do transcripts last. My transcripts are the only thing they “haven’t received” too.</p>

<p>My daughter’s transcript was mailed 11/22 by HS GC and Drexel updated her status as ‘complete … application is under review’ on 12/1. We are hoping to have a decision sometime next week.</p>
