just stop talking about becoming your own country again and you should be fine ;)

Yeah, one look at our constitution will tell you that America does government way better... I love how we hijacked the thread

seriously..jk ;)

Ok, I'm hijacking the thread back!

And to whoever said something about Florida, I can't lie... I moved there when I was 10 and stayed for a little over four years, and I never liked it at all. Michigan, on the other hand, is awesome. I guess I'm just one for cold weather.

thats where you're wrong. haha. i actually only lived in FL for 4 years, but it's awesome. then we moved up north to OH and nothing. visited MI, and it was the same sorta thing. plus, football down there is better too :)

Yeah, every snowbird that comes down during the winter has Michigan plates. Where in Florida did you live?

Yeah, Michigan is the bomb.

hey joe, are you the one i met at orientation?

Not to derail the thread anymore but... I can't lie. COLORADO is the BEST! Hands down, by far, second to none.

What other state can boast having it snow when the sun is shining?(Happened last weekend here) Or having some of the best slopes in the states?

Ok, I'm done. Point proven ;)

umm, ahem, my dear semperexcelsius...california can!
not only that, but the very same place where sun is shining on the snow can be a mere hour car ride from a nice warm beach, perfectly capable of being swum in.
hmm.... ;)

in fact, pomona college does an annual surf and ski day where they spend the morning skiing, then they hit the beach and surf.

i lived in the panhandle. Destin beaches = immaculate

i bet. no skiing an hour away though ;)
heehee, just teasing ya. actually, while i think california is absolutely gorgeous (how can an area of land this large NOT be in some places???), our state government is quite corrupt, and i'll be glad to get out.

Now now... Pulling the beach trick, I call party foul!

Anyways, I will admit. No comeback for that one. But I do suggest starting to love what Colorado has to offer, you will be spending 4 years here if I'm not mistaken :D

i agree, it's gorgeous. i'm just bitter coming from almost sea level... :D

Except the skiing is absolutely amazing here. Easy to learn (or pick back up in my case) because of the type of powder you'll get here. I live for skiing in winter!

I know what you mean missmuff. And I just wanted to add, Oregon is awesome, especially all the rain and the rain and the rain, and did I mention the rain?
