Help a lost soul and good vibes will come your way!

^ thanks for your advice :)

I think I would probably be happy in both a rural/ urban environment, as long as the social life doesn't revolve around drinking/drugs and there's a sense of community on campus. Though the drinking part would be kind of unavoidable on rural campuses...

Lots of schools have excellent summer internship opportunities. A much smaller number of schools have excellent during-term internship opportunities, both paid and unpaid. An even smaller number of schools have programs where internships are "articulated" - i.e. where faculty advisors help you move from one internship to another, during term to summer to term to help support your overall educational and vocational goals and objectives.

It's not simply a matter of urban v. rural (though I know of no rural school that fits the last category). Now, if in-term internships and articulation are not that important to you, then don't use them as criteria. But to make believe that the internship opportunities at, say Williams and George Washington are the same is perfect nonsense. (I have two d's - one at each type of school - and internship opportunities are as if they are on different planets.)

Mini, could you elaborate on your D's internship situation at Williams?

thanks :)
