Help a Mexican Out, Por Favor?

So basically at the moment I am a junior at the best school in the state of IL.
And because I have so many seniors in my classes all i've been hearing is about their acceptances into college. I just wanna know where I stand at the moment. Will my URM help at all, my course workload, etc.

Before Junior year I've never taking any AP's but this year my classes are.

AP Chemistry Double Block (block scheduling at my school): B in the Class
AP Micro: B in the Class
AP Calculus AB: A in the Class
AP Language and Composition: B in the Class
Honors Bio and Honors French III: A's in both classes

Next Year I'm taking:

Multivariable Calculus AP Level no test
AP French
AP Physics C
Art
Band
Honors World Lit
Maybe weight training or some other AP class

Extracurriculars include: Baseball and Soccer all 3 years thus far. And Key Club along with Latino Club i think. haha.

I'm aiming for a 32 on the ACT and whatever the equivalent of a 32 is on the SAT.
I'd really love go to a Cali School. Am I on a good pace or what do I need to do to better my chances.. Advice Please

CHITOWN REPRESENT

I’d take AP classes instead of weight training and bring your grades up. The UC’s are really competitive to get into; try and kick it up a notch.

Your Senior year is weak with Art, Band, and Weight training. Drop 2 of them and take APs for a better chance.

It depends on which “cali school” you are trying to get into. There are tons to choose from. If you are talking about the UCs, they generally expect their non-California students to be extremely highly-ranked and be able to pay full tuition. The more well-known CSUs (Cal Poly SLO, SDSU) will expect the same. Other privates, such as USC, Harvey Mudd, Cal Tech, Stanford, etc. are difficult for everyone to get into, so you’ll need to make sure that you can show demonstrated interest and excellence in something (from your list of ECs and courses, it really is hard to tell where your interests lie).

I’d love to go to schools like USC, UCLA, Berkley, Northwestern, U of C, U of Illinois.
I wanna go into engineering. Not sure which specific course though. The thing with art and band is that my school requires for one to take this classes. Since I haven’t taken them yet im stuck taking them my senior year. Those are mandatory.
