<p>hey.. i was wondering if anyone could tell me a little about marquette university in milwaukee, WI? my transfer application got thru but i'm not sure if i should enroll. </p>
<p>honestly, i don't really know much about the school nor the area it's in. i'll probably major in criminology & law studies and/or philosophy. how's their arts faculty? as much as i've heard/read MU's strongest fac should be either biomed or nursing. and i've been told there isn't much diversity in the school. how much a factor will that be? how is the school ranked and how well recognized is it? and what exactly is milwaukee like?</p>
<p>my biggest dilemma is that i'm a freshman attending national taiwan university (as an international student) which is the best college in the country and possibly the region.. but i'm not interested in my current major and there aren't much other choices to pick from. also, i'm extremely fed up with the school admin. for eg, my package from marquette arrived on the 24th and someone at the mail handling office signed for it but i've YET to receive the parcel. i've been down to 3 different offices at leat 5 times in total and i'm going down again monday morning :( </p>
<p>on the other hand, i'm considering trying for transfer again next year although i'm not confident in getting a better gpa. the core curriculum seems really difficult and demanding!! so, should i go or not?</p>
