Help!!! Accidentally sent in terrible SAT scores with subject tests?

My mom sent in my scores while I was at school, but failed to review the page and accidentally sent in ALL of my SAT scores with my SAT subject test scores instead of just sending the subject tests. I was planning on just submitting the ACT to top colleges because I did relatively well on that along with the subject tests. However, she sent HORRIFIC SAT scores to Harvard, Vanderbilt, and other top schools on accident. (I mean ~1800 bad). Now, I have virtually no chance of getting in. Is there anything I can do???

The first time I ever took the SAT I got ~1800 and the second I got ~1950. I got a 30+ ACT.

Yes. It happened to me two years ago - you can call the SAT people and they will stop the transmission and send only what you need. It takes a few days for the data to transmit to the schools.

@keesh17 well what if it’s too late? I think she submitted them a week ago

Make the call first - they will tell you what to do. You are for sure not the first to have this dilemma. Have your Mom call since she made the mistake…

They only look at your best scores anyway. I’m sure its fine.

Doesn’t matter. They only look at the top scores, and submitting all scores makes you eligible for more scholarships.
