HELP! I just accidentally sent all my SAT subject test scores to 20 schools!

So I totally forgot to do score choice and am applying to all my reaches. I intended to submit my Literature-710 and US History-700. Those were the only ones I reported on my Common app. I accidentally sent a bunch of joke scores, such as Spanish, a test I was just taking for fun. (I’ve never take a Spanish class). The scores I accidentally sent were Bio-660 World History-620 Mat-480 and Spanish-310. I called SAT and they said they can cancel the whole order, but they can’t change the report. If I cancel and redo it, it would cost $300. What do I do?

I’d cancel and pay.

Call College Board and ask them to change it. No charge. Do it right away before they send it.

@coolweather I called, and they told me that I couldn’t change a report, just cancel it.

I did that last week for the kid I help. Also I was able to talk to them on the weekend at late hour (I was surprised). Try to call again. Don’t cancel the report. Just ask them to remove the other scores you don’t want. Some College Board representatives may allow, some don’t because they don’t want to do the work. Maybe you should ask your parents to call. They may have stronger voice.

And if you don’t have luck with the first person, ask to escalate the call to a supervisor. You may STILL end up having to pay, but at least you’ll have tried.

@coolweather thank you so much. I talked to another lady who wasn’t as lazy and she did it for me. Thanks again!!

@porcupine98 thanks. I called again and the lady was willing to help. You saved me a ton of grief. Thanks you!
