I am an International student from Australia applying to NYU (most probably Steinhardt) for 2013 admission on Early Decision. I am currently at an 1810 SAT score, but will be re-sitting in October and hopefully will be able to bump up my maths score so that I am able to obtain around 1950 (I am currently sitting on: 680 CR, 490 Maths, 640 Writing, 12 Essay). I currently take the International Baccalaureate, but realise that this may potentially have no bearing on my application, as I do not receive my IB results until January 2013. I have also undertaken an intensive and extensive community service activity and project over the past 2 years. I was wondering what I would need to do to maximise my chances at NYU, given that my SAT scores are not incredible. Thank you :)
