Help,anybody..Please!

I applied for the fall session this year and sadly, didn't get in any colleges I applied to. I have shown my application materials (essays, CV, extra-curricular involvements, grades and scores) to quite a few people and they were fairly positive about my chances considering the colleges I was applying to. So, I wanted to share my application with some more people and get their views on it. So, will anybody mind looking at my essays and other stuffs? It would really be a big help.

Thanks.

Don’t forget to tell members that you are an Intl. student needing generous FA; and are you still planning to attend college this year and apply as a transfer?

Yes, I am an international student who will need generous financial aid. I am not 100% on whether I would like to apply as the first-year next year or a transfer.
Since the chance of an intl. transfer receiving generous financial aid is very less, I was thinking about applying for the spring 2014 session or the next year as a first-year instead.

Thanks, entomom for your suggestion.

^Remember if you take ANY post-HS college courses, you may be considered a transfer applicant; you need to check each college website to find out how they define a fr vs. transfer applicant.

Yes, I am in the process of emailing colleges and inquiring about their treatment in such a situation. I am hoping that since I will not have completed even a semester (so there will no GPAs to talk about) colleges will consider my candidacy as a first-year applicant instead of a transfer.

What counts is how many post-HS courses you will have completed by the time you matriculate, not when you apply.

Again, except in a few occasions, information about whether to apply as a fr or transfer applicant is provided on the college admissions website.
