Hello ppl,
I have been admitted to the univ of minnesota as an international student. I will have to pay about 25000 dollars a year of which my efc is about 17ooo dollars. so that leaves me in a debt of about8*4=32000 dollars.
My question is, is it worth it? i will be majoring in mech or chem engg.
I have 2 options- graduate in a reputed indian college(im indian) , which will leave a negligible dent in my pocket ahnd undertake my (even) higher studies in the US in a top college without any monetary probs whatsoeva,
or
grad frm umn and work fr a yr or so and go to grad skool ,or maybe hope for the financial condn to improve ,which is a good possibility.
please help guys,
please
please.
dont just view, REPLY!!!!

The Univ. of Minnesota is a fine institution, but it sounds like it makes more sense financially to attend college in India and then possibly come to the U.S. for graduate school.
