Help! Being torn between BU, Fordham and Drexel; deadline's approaching!

I got accepted to CAS (BU), Gabelli (Fordham) and LeBow (Drexel). BU and Fordham give me no money, while Drexel gives me 16k. My family can afford these schools, but of course we'd prefer a cheaper option. The depositing deadline is approaching, but I'm totally confused. Please help, especially current students of these schools, and internationals; I'd greatly appreciate your advice. I am an international, I heard that its hard to get an internship in BU or Fordham if you're an international, which is really disheartening. On the other hand, in Drexel, with its Co-Op, I can be sure that I will have an internship. BU's deflation thing also scares me because I consider trying to transfer after my first or second year there. Location is another dilemma - I visited BU and Fordham, and I loved both. BU is a calmer city, slower pace, cleaner, cheaper maybe; but NYC is my dream city! Bronx does not intimidate me at all, and RoseHill campus is beautiful. I was also thinking that NYC has more opportunities when it comes to business. I didnt visit Drexel and Philly, but from videos and pictures I really loved it. It seems to have the best urban feel. I am torn these three I am so scared - my family was saving money for my education for years and now I don't know which one is the right choice. I must make the best decision. Please, please, guys, help me! I'm so nervous.

The major is business, and I want to add international relations to this as a second major or a minor.

I can’t believe no one has an opinion on this:(( Is it because I’m an international??( CC, please help! bump

“Is it because I’m an international??” ← this is a ridiculous question. i’m new here, i’m not an international and i’m very biased. i tell you this, i’d definitely go to bu, because i’m currently here on neuroscience and my experience here is great:) i don’t know much about drexel, but fordham is also good (for business definitely), but i visited their campus and students seemed much less energetic than bu students to me. idk, hope this helps.

I think Boston University has the most international name recognition

thanks, timetodecide12; bump, CC please help me in one of the most important decisions in my life ^^

Drexel coop is good, but Drexel is more known for engineering. The campus is improving but is not great and is in the shadow of Penn, literally and figuratively.

BU is the most prestigious. What are your SAT scores? Are you willing to spend 200K for four years at BU? why wont they give you money or a scholarship ? just curious to know how you did on the SAT’s

BU has more well known name but that is the only reason fordham is where it is if more people knew it it would have a much higher rank. Additionally NYC is great for politics especially IR after all the UN is there. Lastly in ny fordham is one of the most prestigious universities!

Thank you for responses! Mom Of Wild Child, my SATI is 1800/2400, I also took two SAT subject tests - Math I (660), Physics (600). High School GPA 3.85 (UW, no APs or Honors). ECs - a golden medal for academic excelence in my homecountry, won a couple of intellectual contests, music composers competitions. That’s it. They say it’s ok for an international, but Fordham and BU didn’t give me any scholarships, though many other colleges did:(

I am also facing a dilemma on if it is worth 200k for me to attend BU !

Ive made up my mind, Im going to Fordham. Reasons - my dream city, beautiful green classical campus, gothic style, security of the campus territory, nice Bronx area with good accessible shopping, Gabelli school of business, Jesuit traditions. I also somehow feel that I would be a good Fordham student, I would fit in there. I am more of an introvert, yet friendly; I love that the campus looks so classical and somehow silent and slow, and yet Manhattan is only 20 minutes away. Its decided, Im going to Fordham. Phew… It was hard not to choose BU.

Congratulations! I think you made a great choice and will really fit in at Fordham! And FWIW Fordham is just as “prestigious” as BU! Best of luck!
