<p>If you are sure you want to deal with planes and space technologies, then aerospace for undergrad and grad with summer internships in that industry.</p>
<p>If you are unsure about what you really want, then do the general degree of mechE. It is a great springboard to other disciplines.</p>
<p>First of all, a few programs require you to make a switch between Astro/Aero very quickly. So you might want to have a good idea of where you're looking at. Also, some schools have weaker/stronger departments in Astro/Aero - so research that. Thirdly, I'm not sure grad school is required if you simply want to work on Astro/Aero stuff.</p>
<p>yea, i would do a meche for undergrad and an aeroe minor. if you do aeroe, youre specialized, but the problem is, you might have a difficult time finding a job or changing a career because your knowledge is too narrow.</p>
