Hi! This is my first post on this forum so I hope I read the rules correctly!

I will be taking the November SAT and it's my last chance to raise my scores before I start applying to schools. In January I got a 460 in Math, 640 in Reading and a 570 Writing. To have a better chance getting into the colleges I'm considering I need at LEAST a 500 in Math, preferably a 550, but I think 500 is more realistic.
My problem is that math comes slowly to me and under stress (During the test) I usually panic when I see how much time I'm wasting and start making careless mistakes or start forgetting how to do basic problems. For example, I might understand how to do a problem, but my method will take 2 or 3 minutes, then I end up checking it 3 times because I assume I got it wrong, and more time is wasted. I have only taken up to Algebra 2 (I'm taking Trig/ Pre Calc for Senior Year) so I usually have to completely omit the harder questions at the end of each section.

Other than reviewing problem types and working on my pacing, anyone have ideas about how to improve my score? I'm pretty sure I can get my writing score to 600, and my reading score is great, it's just the math section holding me back...
