Help Chance a Stressed Senior!

Hello All,
I am white male high school senior at a VERY small parochial school on the east coast.

Colleges:
Princeton (dream school)
Cornell
Notre Dame
Johns Hopkins
Carnegie Mellon
UVA
University of Rochester

I'm interested in engineering, but I'm not sure if it's what I really want to do. I understand my math SAT score is pretty low for someone that might major in engineering, but what do you think?

Academics

SATs Math: 670 Reading:720 Writing:650
GPA unweighted/weighted: 3.97/4.50
APs Junior Year Chemistry:5 APUSH: 5
Senior Year LitComp, Calc AB, US Gov/Polit
Only full scholarship recipient for the class of 2013

Extracurriculars

Student Leadership Group- 9th Representative ,10th Class President, 11th Secretary of the Student Body,12th President of the Student Body
National Honor Society Member- 11th, 12th (my school doesn't allow 10th)
Math League- 9,10,11,12
Academic Bowl- 9,10,11

I also have about 100 recorded service hours, was chosen to attend my state's gov school the summer before my junior year, and have been in a large amount of radio, newspaper, and promotional video ads for my school (don't know if that'll help, but it might be worth mentioning). First Generation as well.

Again, the schools are in the first part of the post, please help me out. Thanks!

Bump please.

To be completley honest, your SAT score is very low for engineering in the schools you have listed and there is no getting around that fact.

However, your GPA is amazing as are your EC’s so your best bet is to emphasize your strengths in you essays and hope for the best!

To me, they are all reaches, Princeton being a high reach and I dont know anything about URochester so i will not say anything about that school.

Thank you! I was just looking for any kind of reply. I also am taking SAT II Math I in attempts to augment that math score. Even so, I think applying undecided may be my best bet.

Dont take math 1 because it does not count for much at all, if anythin get an amazing score on Math II to balance it out imo

Anyone else have feedback?

Bueller? Bueller? Bueller?

Your GPA is Phenomenal! However, as stated earlier, your SAT I good, but not as stunning as your GPA is. You should try to get 2100+ if you can.
Words from the wise: Take the Math II. That’s what Cornell, Princeton, and Carnegie Mellon require for their engineering programs. They don’t accept Math I.
Also, take the Chem or Physics SAT if you want to apply to Mellon.
Colleges:
Princeton (dream school): High Reach (for anyone)
Cornell: Reach
Notre Dame: Reach/High Match
Johns Hopkins: Reach
Carnegie Mellon: Reach
UVA: Reach for OOS, Match for in-state
University of Rochester: Don’t know, but based off of SAT and GPA, I’d say low match/high safety

Could you give me suggestions on where I should apply? http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1410696-what-colleges-should-i-apply.html

Princeton: Reach
Cornell: Reach
Notre Dame: Reach
JHU: Reach
CMU: Reach
UVA: High match (OOS)/Match (in-state)
U Rochester: Low match

your sat score lowers your chances for your more competitive schools like princeton cornell and hopkins. you have a decent chance at cmu uva and u rochester but the rest are reaches. good luck!
