I applied to seattle university as a sophomore transfer for 2012. I am currently a freshman at pepperdine university. I went through a period of for sure wanting to transfer because i felt lonely here and missed my family and friends and dogs back home. i live about 45 mins away from seattle. I also decided that i really wanted to play on a college tennis team because i wasn't playing at pepperdine.
now that i have been accepted and told i can play on the tennis at seattle university (didn't make the pepperdine team), i am having second thoughts. can someone who attends seattle u or has gone through the transfer experience please tell me what it's like.
I am worried about having to adjust to a brand new school and make new friends again.
I will miss my new friends i have made here a lot. But i also miss my old friends who go to school in washington state and at UW so i will be able to see them more often.
I have been told not to transfer based on homesickness, but i feel like even though it got easier to be here, i will be happier if i have the opportunity to go home every once a while.

I just don't want to regret my decision to transfer. if anyone has any input on transferring and getting used to a new school again that'd be really helpful.

financially seattle university would be cheaper and i got the transfer scholarship. it would probably be about $18,000 cheaper but money isn't much of an issue.
