Help Choosing a College

I am currently a freshman at Pepperdine University.
I was accepted to Seattle University as a sophomore transfer for fall 2012.
I went through period of time in my freshman year right after christmas break where i was sure i wanted to transfer because i was feeling lonely here, extremely homesick (I am from 45 mins away from seattle), and like it wasn't the right place for me. I also really wanted to play on a tennis team and i couldnt make the tennis team here.
I am now having second thoughts about transferring. I would be on the tennis team at seattle university which is a huge factor in my decision. i would be closer to home and my friends who go to UW and washington state schools. financially, seattle university would probably $18,000 less and i got the transfer scholarship.

The only reason i am not sure i want to transfer anymore is because i would miss my friends i have made at pepperdine and its gotten a lot easier to be here now that i have more friends. also because i am scared to transition to a whole different school again.

if anyone has input on what it is like to transfer that would be great.
Also what it is like to be a D1 student athlete as far as time management, especially at a small school like SU.
If anyone goes to seattle university i would love to hear what it's like too.
Thanks!!

I think this is a problem for many students their freshman year. It is easy to feel alone and left out. Somehow that all changes the second semester and just as in your case, you meet new friends and things begin to fall in place. I think I would stay at Pepperdine. You are familiar with the school, have a group of friends, and you are getting a good education. Even though you might be closer to family and friends in Seattle, I think the growing experience you are having now will pay off in the end.
