<p>I think you’ve made an error…did you put your parents AGI in the student portion or add an extra 0 to a number somewhere? Check your entries against the FAFSA instructions. Your EFC should be much lower, and perhaps 0.</p>
<p>Btw, did you have to enter asset information? Very high reportable assets could cause a larger EFC, but that would be unusual for that income level.</p>
<p>yeaaaa… something is wrong. My EFC was 3,567 and my parents make 59,000 all together. This supports our family of 5 and we have ZERO assets and savings, and when we filed it we had 15 dollars in the bank. I think you either made a mistake or you have some super high assets or something.</p>
