HELP! Do single avgs really count

I have a high GPA with high ACT and SAT scores to match, but in my math class my average is in the high 80's, which does not equate to the rest of my averages from other classes which are high 90's (I am in regular pre-calc, not honors, but not modified either)

how much will this affect me in the admissions process? i'm getting really nervous!

if it helps, my math teacher is writing my recommendation in which I am sure she will explain how I had to work really hard to achieve that grade

PLEASE HELP

You’re worrying over nothing. Your high grades show that you are smart and not a slacker, and colleges know that not all subjects come easily to everyone. Colleges look at a lot more than grades and SAT scores…
