HELP! Don't know what's going on...

OK, so I received acceptances from JHU and GW.
I didn't request financial aid, and I didn't fill out a FAFSA, because I was told they wouldn't give me anything, due to my income bracket (family=200k+).

However, I know people who are of a higher bracket than me that did, and they got aid!

I wasn't notified of any scholarships or anything, so is there any point of me filing a FAFSA now? Is there any way I don't have to pay full price for these schools? Because I don't know if I can afford it otherwise :(

Appreciate all responses! Thanks

Yes, you can fill out a FAFSA, and see what your family EFC is. If it is lower than the Cost of Attendance for the school, you can let the colleges know. I believe those schools also require you to complete PROFILE.

It is late, and there may not be much or any aid left, but you can always give it a go. If nothing else, the FAFSA will qualify you for the Stafford loan, and your parents for PLUS.
