Help!!! Drexel bs-md or cornell che

@Bigfire ROAD is a new term that simply refers to so called “lifestyle” specialities and has nothing to do with how competitive a post-graduate training program is per se.

lifestyle = better, or lifestyle not= better, it depends on one’s flavor. I could love IM it may not be a ‘lifestyle’ specialty, but it maybe a better one or vice versa. Who cares …, Someone may not like Radiology, because of some reasons. Better/lifestyle specialty may not be a better program for someone, it still depends on the name, location, future job prospective and others … (eg. if i got into Harvard IM program, it may be superior than DR program in New Mexico for someone’s eye) That’s just my opinion.

keyboard: maybe they did get a premed advisor and I hope it works out for you
when I called a few months ago, they said no premed advisor until further notice

No… they’ve always had one for you if you wanted one… this is absolutely stupid…

… when you come right down to it, the argument that I won’t go to Cornell (or any other school in this tier) because it might hurt my chances of going to Medical, Law or other Graduate school is absolutely stupid.

It isn’t stupid if you do significantly worse than you would have in another school. But the thing is that you probably won’t because of how classes are curved.

Yes, but at the time you make your decision, you don’t know how you will do at Cornell vs how you will do at the other school.

zephyr, yes, that is right. I based my choice, partly because of the bad admission stats that cornell undergrads have to graduate school. there is a wall street journal article posted somewhere on this site that says cornell is way lower than all the other ivys and many other colleges at getting their students into grad school. I say it is important to do your research. if 1/2 of cornell students can’t get into any medical school at all, then bs-md is a good choice. My opinion.

I am done with this ■■■■■. Not going to repeat whatever I’ve said for the 20th time. For whoever is interested, go through my posts. It’s somewhere within my last 100 and has been mentioned multiple times.

By this point it should be clear that this person is not who he/she/it says he is.

Thanks Colene!
