Hi guys. I am having serious trouble finding a financial safety school. I really don't like any instate colleges.

I got a 33 on my act and I have a 3.6 gpa with an extreme upward trend.

The colleges that I like are urban colleges like nyu bu or gwu.

I have looked at cuny schools, but I don't like how they are more of a commuter school.

Please help me find a financial safety with an average act in the high 20s and comparable gpa.

Thanks!

And if you want me to chance you to repay the help just post your links

How much can you afford to pay per year?

Are you a National Merit Semifinalist? What is your intended major?

What do you dislike about your in-state public universities? They may be your best option. What is your home state? Do you have geographic limitations?

Go to the Financial Aid Forum, and take a look at the threads at the top of that forum that discuss places with guaranteed merit-based aid and competitive merit-based aid. If you don’t particularly care where your safety is located, you may find something that could work for you.

Warrior. I am looking for 25k or less not including FA. I want to pursue economics

I live in RI. Being so small of a state I basically have two in state options, uri and ric. I don’t like uri because it would feel like high school, so many people from my school go there. I know that there are thousands of people there I just want a new experience. And ric is not a very good school

I’m not national merit

Do you mean $25,000 net price (including parent and student contributions) or $25,000 parent contribution (to which you can add a few thousand in work earnings and up to $5,500 in Direct/Stafford loans as a student contribution to get a net price limit of a little over $30,000)?
