HELP!! First name & Middle name discrepancy..

This is rather controversial,, and it's worrying me..

My official name is Jimin Kim (currently 12th grade). I stayed in Texas untill 11th grade and I moved to Georgia during summer.

Here's the problem.
During the process of transferring, my dad put a space in between my name, which looked like Ji Min Kim.

The new Georgia school county registred my name as
First name: Ji
Middle name: Min
Last name: Kim

I do not have an official middle name, and now I have a new name..

I took my SAT in 11th grade, and my collegeboard official name is registered as Jimin Kim.

However, when I had to register ACT few days ago i had to register my name with a "new name" which is Ji (middle name: Min) Kim.

Would this descrpenacy in my first name cause any trouble during my college application process?

please help me.. T-T

Nope. This happens a lot. Just be sure to let the colleges that you apply to know that several different versions of your name have been used over the years, and what those various versions are. They will be able to match everything up.

Thank you for replying! but how would I tell them that I use several names? On what part of the application?

Additional Info section

Make sure that your name is consistent in your standardized testing or you may have problems. Call the student customer service number if you haven’t used exactly the same form of your name on all your SATs, for example, and they will help you straighten that out.

CollCouns; My name has been consistent in SAT.

But I would have to put my “new name” on this upcoming ACT, otherwise it would create discrepancy with my official school name.

I’m worried that colleges would be confused by different names on my SAT and ACT…
