You need to stay in HumEc for one year before you can internal transfer. That’s not that bad though - just take lots of classes outside of HumEc if you don’t like it.

I transferred out of engineering - while I was still in engineering, I just took like, the required one math and one science class and took other stuff that I was interested in. They’ll explain and tell you what you need to know.

You should talk to some advisers from your prospective new major during orientation week. They’ll tell you what to do for add/drop etc. Most colleges have some sort of business related field, but the only 100% business program is AEM, and internal transfer into AEM is very competitive.

I’m relieved to know that I can take courses outside HumEc, haha. But that makes me ask:

If, for example, AEM is extremely competetive, then why don’t people just apply to a different college and take courses in it? Or is AEM exclusive to its own students?
