Okay so I gave my October 11 SAT and will be expecting a score of 1700-1900 maybe low. Last practice test I got a 1840.

In Maths what bothers me is that despite knowing all the concepts I have never scored 800. The closest I got is 730, there are usually no mistakes in easy and few times in hard but mistakes are there in medium questions. This time I am expecting a math score of around 650+ (don't know how high it will be). I usually finish the maths section 5 minutes earlier and if I get enough time I will find a way around the questions I couldn't figure out but after analyzing it for like 5 minutes haha. I am a student who even in class had to think a while before I get my answers while others were quick. I have taken A-levels Mathematics.

Writing section I literally read the Ultimate SAT grammar over 3 times and understand it all but still I get around 5-10 writing questions wrong (already finished blue book second edition writing questions). I know that one of my weakness is idioms and will work on it this time. I make around 2-5 mistakes in sentence improvement and similar in error identification. Sentence completion sometimes I get confused between two options. Error identification I am usually confused in to or - ing form when mistake will usually not be these forms but something else. I haven't practiced essay much will get around 7 or 8 this time but will make it my goal to reach 10 at least by nov 8.

Critical reading section is my weakest. I have read the guides here on cc. I will score around 500-550 this time I guess. I have taken classes and know quite a few tips on looking for hints in sentence completion portion but vocabulary troubles me a lot. I have no clue of the answer choices and sometimes the question. Passage reading I get around 5-9 mistakes; however, if I get enough time to read I make less mistakes. The main thing is while timed I usually make more mistake in passages and I don't understand passages most of the times even the answer choices most of the time. There are lots of people against vocabulary memorization so I am confused. I have below average reading skills and vocabulary since English is my second language and I don't read much. I am trying to read Huffington post daily and just started the direct hits. This time I missed a bunch of questions (around 4-7) in the passage just because I ran out of time.

So guys if you got tips for me in each section please help me. I have to cross the 2000 mark anyhow in nov 8. Am I expecting a lot from myself or is it feasible?
