HELP!! GRADES ARE SLIPPING, SCARED FOR AP EXAMS

Hi-
I’m a sophomore and my freshman year I had a GPA of about 92-93. Obviously, that is very low. I am in two AP classes at the moment and I had okay grades first semester. But this semester I noticed more B’s and C’s than A’s. My weighted GPA right now is a 91. My grades are terrible and I’m freaking out. My goal by the end of the year is to bring my GPA to about a 94… WHAT CAN I DO? ARE MY GOALS TOO FAR-FETCHED? Also, I am terrified for my AP exams this year, I took AP Human last year and I got a 4 on that exam. But- This year I have AP euro and AP world (they’re so much harder) … Im so scared. HELP!

That’s not a low GPA, first of all.

Secondly, get prep books (if you can) for your classes. They help simplify things and make them easier. I know that history requires alot of knowledge regurgitation, but take it one step at a time. Are you failing these classes? Other than that, you shouldn’t be worried, as long as you’ve followed along with the class and the information throughout the year. A B in an AP Class is typical, especially in a class like Euro.

“I noticed C’s” makes it sound like they popped up out of nowhere. What’s the source? Doing badly on quizzes, homework, exams?

It’s not really a good idea to take two intense history classes at the same time unless you are really good at history.
If I am in your position, I would choose to focus on one, and study another next year.

I notice that I get A’s on quizzes and homework. I take detailed notes in both courses and I study those for exams. Even with my detailed notes and extensive studying, I do poorly on tests ( not really in AP Euro, mostly WHAP)… Am I studying incorrectly?
