I pushed off my college essays like an idiot.the only topics I can think of are my love of Legos/Lincoln logs, my fear of phones and overcoming it, and my job interview where I realized that confidence truly is key. Do you have any tips for coming up with a essay topic?the prompt can be anything
JMHO but I’d stay away from the Legos. I have listened to college panels where they’ve said it is overdone and they don’t want to hear the suggested link of Legos to Engineering. Fear of phones? Um, sounds kind of odd. An essay about confidence and how you’ve grown in that area might be something to consider. Try to think of who you are and what you would want people to know about you. What makes you the individual that you are? Are there any experiences that have shaped your “person-hood?” Remember it is only 650 words so you don’t have a lot of space and a small “watermelon seed” of an idea can be shaped into a great essay.
