<p>I got accepted to VTech and JMU and im not sure where to go at all. I toured both campuses and really fell in love with Tech. The problem is that I plan to become a teacher and JMU has an amazing education program. Tech has an education program too, its just a lot smaller and they wont work with you until youre in grad school. At JMU they really work with you as an undergrad and seem to know exactly what to do, where as Tech doesnt offer much for their education program. Also, JMU has this rep as a party school, and im not much into partying, and I didnt like how spread out the campus felt. I just need opinions, should I go to the place with the great program (JMU), or the place I fell in love with (VT). please help!! I need to make a decision soon.</p>
<p>I don’t know about the reputations of those schools, but I will tell you that my daughter had several choices and selected the school with the best education program with the earliest field experience involvement, a reputation for producing good teachers and hiring statistics to back that up. She has hs classmates who took the other route where they won’t do ed until the masters program. We’ll see how it turns out. Good luck with your decision.</p>
