Help - I should expect to get my fin aid retracted?

Hello everyone,

I transferred to UCSD a couple of years ago and will almost be finishing up my bio degree this summer. I still need to finish my last course (chem lab) and I decided to take it at a community college back home to save a ton of money. That would mean having to take a year of chemistry to get credit for the lab, but I really didn't want to get in any more debt. I also decided to do the prereqs to enter the nursing program. I know I can get in and I have a great gpa at my community college.

Well, here's my question. I sent the community college my fafsa to become eligible for the BOGG. I recently found out a couple of days ago that I was granted a Pell Grant. It says limited eligiblity and I was only approved for the Fall semester. I checked out my IVC transcript and it says I only have 83 total units. I'm pretty sure this is going to be canceled after they finally process my transcripts correct? I sent them about 2 months ago, but they said it can take up to 90 days to process. I have more than 200+ total units. I'm still an undergrad, but that shouldn't matter. Although extra money would be nice, I shouldn't get my hopes up. I also got approved for work study - does this mean I won't be able to do it after they get my total units? I would love a job at my college, it would make things so much easier. Thanks for taking the time to read this and all information given is appreciated :D.
