<p>Trig is very easy once you get used to it. Learn the right-triangle and unit circle definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent (how are they related?). Also, it helps to know sin/cos/tan for certain values such as 0, pi/6, pi/4, pi/3, pi/2, and it generalizes around the unit circle.</p>
<p>Once you’ve covered that, try deriving some trig identities (such as sin^2 x + cos^2 x = 1). You’ll understand them much better once you learn where they come from.</p>
