Trigonometry on the new SAT

So I’ve been studying for the SAT and ACT during this summer, and I was wondering, exactly how much trig is covered on the new SAT? What do I need to study? Some books like Barron’s cover more than others so I’m kind of confused as to what I need to know. Also, do I need to memorize the unit circle for the test?
Thanks!

I don’t remember ever using trig on the SAT. I remember there might have been one problem where knowing it would have made the problem easier but wasn’t necessary. ACT definitely needs it.

You are likely to see a single trig problem on the new SAT. SOHCAHTOA and some common sense will solve most of them, but familiarity with the unit circle never hurts. Not sure what you mean by memorize. You’ll want to at least know where sine and cosine are positive and negative. From there, right triangles and SOHCAHTOA should bring you home.
