I want to buy a text book so i can self study for AP chemistry. What's a good book you can recommend me. TY

Get Zuhmdahl or Brown. Either one is fine - I prefer Zuhmdahl though.

Chemistry: The Central Science (Brown)...I really liked it. If you want to go old school use "General Chemistry" by Linus Pauling (basically the feynman and apostol of chemistry...ironically they all taught at caltech lol)

Get the Princeton Review book to supplement.

I'll also say Brown/Lemay/Bursten textbook, supplemented with Princeton Review. That's what I used.

Is this the correct book apotheosis?

ok. Also where can i get the teacher edition with the answers and stuff, so i can check my answers.

U dont necessarily need a txtbook type book. the petersons book is so thick and in detail that it sohuld get u thru, and the PR gives alot of good practice\
i did it like that (but then again i was taking general chemistry concurrently, but it was useless in AP)

ok heres the deal...don't buy from ebay lol. Go to amazon marketplace and you can get it really cheap. Get the 9th edition since it's basically the same thing as the 10th. Here's the link:

Don't bother buying the teacher's edition. Go to www.cramster.com
Sign up for a FREE account. The you can view step by step solutions to odd answers...good enough IMO.

omg why is marketplace so much cheaper lol...

^I always buy textbooks off amazon marketplace (and quite a few off ebay :D).

There are new books in the marketplace that are so much cheaper than what Amazon is asking for.

Is there a difference between the book that says AP Edition?
