Ok, i'm majorly screwed. The teacher who was suppose to do my references, just filled out the check boxes (i.e. ranking ECs, academics, personality, etc), and forgot to include the actual reference letter with it!!! Once Columbia recieves this "package" what are they gonna make of it? Will they contact my school or something? What should I do!!!??? HELP!!!!

calm down. call Columbia, tell them the teacher will be sending the reference letter as soon as possible and it should get to them soon.

this is your teacher's fault not yours.

its better than the teacher submitting nothing at all. a side note: columbia considers your application complete with only one recommendation submitted.

Don't panic! Just call them and tell them the situation. They'll surely understand!

Hey guys, what if my employer sent his letter of rec but forgot to send the FORM, should I bother to send the school the form separately or just forget it? The form just asks about my name, his name, he knows me in what capacity... all of which are probably explained in the LETTER already. What do you think?? oh, btw, this optional thing I sent to Princeton, not Columbia. But I really need some advice! Thanks a lot in advance!!!
