HELP!! It's Urgent

My school counselor an teachers sent their recommendation letters and transcripts from free emails, such as hotmail and gmail.
I am really worried that colleges will think that I wrote these letter and submitted them!
The problem is that my school is international and it is a small school and does not provide emails such as: XXX@Schoolname.edu .

Please help…would that be a problem ? Will my application be considered for admissions ?

I dont see why that would affect it. But every admissions office is different. Can you call them and explain that? Thats what I would do

I am thinking of sending emails to ask about this. but don’t you think they would call the school if they want to make sure ?

Any other suggestions ?

I think admissions staff are quite adept at telling whether something is written by a student vs. a teacher or school counselor. And, from time to time, even teachers and counselors with standard “.edu” addresses probably submit recommendations from their home computers, etc. where they might be using gmail accounts.

I would think that any admissions person suspecting that a recommendation is written by someone other than a teacher or counselor would take the time to verify their suspicion by calling the school, etc. before rejecting the application outright.

Try not to worry.

Definitely call and explain. Wouldn’t want a small detail like this to jeopardize your chances!

I think so…
