My school counselor an teachers sent their recommendation letters and transcripts from free emails, such as hotmail and gmail.
I am really TERRIFIED that colleges will think that I wrote these letter and submitted them!
The problem is that my is small school and does not provide emails such as: XXX@Schoolname.edu .

Please help..would that be a big a problem ? Will my application be considered for admissions ?

If they have any doubts, then they’ll call your school. Simple, no?

To assume they discount your entire application just out of hand is to assume that the staffs are lazy incompetents. If so, you prolly don’t want to attend those schools anyways

Also, if this had been a problem, I’d also assume that at some point, students would have told counselors, and they would have been aware and fixed the problem.

@T26E4 Thank you, I hope they call the school or even don’t look at this as a big deal.

@purpleacorn I am international and didn’t know a lot about admissions when I submitted my application. I didn’t think of this problem until now!

Do they really look at teachers’ and counselor’s emails ?
