HELP! Junior looking for colleges!

<p>I've been trying to visit colleges I'm just not too sure which places would be best for me.</p>

<p>I have a 94.88 grade point average
As for SATs and ACTs I haven't finish taking them
I assume I will end up with about a 1950 and a 30-31 (Overall, standardized test taking is not my strong suit)</p>

<p>Extra curricular:
-Secretary of a community service club
-Mentoring program
-School newspaper
-Honor society
-Music honor society
-Varsity Tennis and Gymnastics
-Volunteer at a nearby nursing home </p>

<p>Maths:
Algebra 8th grade
Geometry-H
Algebra Trig 2
Pre-Calc
Calc (next year)</p>

<p>Social Studies:
Global-H
AP Euro
AP US
next year is a special program</p>

<p>English
Honors 9th and 10th
Ap Comp
Again next year is a special program</p>

<p>Science
Biology-H
Earth Science-H
Chemistry
AP Biology
Physic- H (next year)</p>

<p>I'm looking for a medium-large school
I live in New York so I don't want something too far away
The farthest I would go in Georgia or North Carolina
I'm also looking for a place with a solid Jewish community. It does not have to be a Jewish school (obviously) but a good amount of Jewish people is ideal.
Every school I'm visiting has kids that I avoid in high school like artsy kids
I'm looking for someplace with a decent sports where people go to the games and greek life is
I'm hoping to major in political science and minor in spanish (as I have excelled in spanish all 3 years and will be taking AP Spanish next year)</p>

<p>Syracuse University but I understand the Greek life is not what it used to be, at least not when I was there.</p>

<p>There is a thread on the parents forum about colleges for the Jewish “B” student. Obviously, you are an “A” student but I expect you may find many schools of interest on this thread.</p>
