hey guys i know u only need 2 years of language to graduate, but it is recommended for 3+ for college

well i started french in sophmore year, so by the end of my junior year, i will have completed 2 years. so im wondering if i should take french 3 next year or psychology (AP)?

lol i know the AP class seems much better, but i keep hearing 3+ years of language is essential....? any ideas?

Why not take French AP? (unless your school doesn’t have it). Here, almost everyone takes AP after 2 years of language because my school, a 6 yr HS, requires Latin in 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. So only people who come here in 9th grade take more language.

Even if you can’t take AP, I’d stay go with language. Colleges will want to see it. I sort of had the same problem. I hate my French class but my school requires 3 years, and I wanted to take Psych AP. I tried t be allowed to take French at a local uni, but the school wouldn’t let me. You might try going that route. I’ve decided to take French AP and self study Psych AP.
