I am a senior applying to BC regular decision. I have a 33 ACT, 2100 SAT superscore and have a 790 Math 2 and 690 Chem. I feel like that chem score is going to kill me, especially since I would like to major in chemistry. I can retake the test this weekend… Should I? I retook the test once before and actually got a 660. Help please!

did you already register? cause isn’t it too late to register at this point?

I was gonna do standby

Why is that bad? To do standby? Sorry Im just hitting the panic button tonight…

A 690 is a good score, especially augmented by your 33. chillax

Your scores are fine for BC and most every other college. But, if you believe that you can pull off a high 700, it sure wouldn’t hurt (higher is always better, but a 720 would not be worth the Saturday morning).

Thank you! I am applying to Ivies as well and have heard that pretty much if the subject test scores are not in the 700s, you wont get in. But at least it is good enough for BC. Thanks again!

Dear beachbum6194 : Since you mentioned applying for Ivy League schools, what is the standout aspect of your application that is going to launch you to that level? Your test scores are fine, but with enrollment pools around 1,000-1,500 students and acceptance rates in the 7-9% range, your application will need to demonstrate some significant level of academic achievement far beyond the story being told by these test scores.
